W4W / The Project of Woman for Woman

The project about Woman’s Rights and Democracy was started in 27 December 2007 and completed in 2008. The Project Coordinator is Azize Daşer. Communication was supplied by meeting with woman Associations in 10 cities from (Afyon, Aksaray, Bartın, Bolu, Bursa, Çankırı, Düzce, Eskişehir, Hatay, Kırşehir) and training meetings were done by Lawyer Gülbin Demirtaş with the cooperation of Human Rights of Head of Department of Prime Ministry. At least 30 per city or town were trained with the conferences about Woman’s Rights, Human Rights and Violence Against Woman in Ankara, Bolu, Denizli Bozkurt Open Women’s Prison, Çankırı, Düzce, districts of Ankara where are Çubuk, Akyurt, Beypazarı, Kalecik, Keçiören. Totally 500 women benefited from these trainings and informing brochures were distributed.
